Handcarved and Lopsided Neriage bottle with yellow, red and green streaks
This piece was thrown on the wheel with different colored clay which you can see as swirly streaks of yellow, green and red around the pot. That is the Neriage technique. I hand-carved lines to emphasize the streaks. This piece is slightly lopsided which gives it great character .This bottle is unglazed and was fired at 2200 degrees F or 1200 degrees C Measurements: 6½”HX3”WX3”D
