Neriage Moon Jar with purple, green and black streaks

$75.00

This piece was thrown on the wheel with different colored clay which you can see as swirly streaks around the pot. That is what is called the Neriage technique. I also hand-carved lines on the piece to emphasize the streaks and give it more texture. This piece has muted colors with subtle charisma and marbled effect. It is unglazed on the outside and was fired F or 1200 degrees C. Narrow spout makes it more decorative than functional, although you could fit a couple of flowers in it. Measurements: 6.7”HX5”WX5”D
